【General Incorporated Association KONTOU-RYU SHIKIKAI】is a group that uses Japanese sword, which is a symbolism of Japanese traditional spirit, for their activities to contribute to the protection, inheritance, and development of “tachimawari-kenjutsu (sword action skills)" and “kenbu(sword dance)" cultures, which have been carried on from the Edo period. The group was established in 2008, and now there are over 150 members of ages 5-84, in 14 “dojo (place where the members train themselves)" in Japan.
